We are
NMCL

Welcome to Namanya Memorial Community Library (NMCL). Established in the spring of 2022, NMCL emerged as a beacon of education and empowerment in Nansana, Wakiso, Uganda.

NMCL began with a heartfelt commitment to bridging gaps in access to reading materials and resources, especially for children eager to learn and grow. Here, individuals of all ages take advantage of diverse learning opportunities, and safe spaces for personal development.

In March 2023, the library’s official launch celebrated amazing community support, volunteer passion, and the generosity of donors who believe in the power of education.
